The challenge is not only imparting education, but it is also the understanding of special needs and their management through life stages, supporting individuals , families and educational systems. Each developmental stage and level of difficulties faced in learning and social interaction need to be supported by training and parenting along with community training & education.This will help develop their special abilities and grow into functional adults .
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that describes the variety of ways people's brains process information and interact with the world. It includes a range of neurodevelopmental disabilities and other conditions that affect brain function, such as autism, ADHD, learning and intellectual disabilities, and traumatic brain injury. Neurodiversity can also refer to how people think and behave, including how they learn, remember information, focus, solve problems, and make decisions affecting living in a neurotypical environment, gaining education and further employment.

Autism Spectrum Disorder, commonly known as ASD, is a complex developmental condition that affects a child's communication, social interaction, behavior, and sensory processing. The "spectrum" part of the name highlights the wide range of challenges and abilities children with ASD can have. Some children may exhibit mild autism disorder symptoms and lead independent lives, while others may require significant support in daily activities from their parents and caregivers.

Developmental Language Disorder

Children with language disorders have difficulty expressing thoughts and/or understanding what is said or written.  Most child language disorders are developmental-that is, they show up as the child grows and develops and are not the result of known injury or other occurrence during childhood. An individual with a developmental language disorder may be only mildly affected or may be severely affected.

Tic Disorders

Tics are repetitive and involuntary muscular movements that can occur in any part of the body. These movements are uncontrollable and unknown to the individual, happening due to nervous system disorders. Symptoms for tic start showing early in life at the age of 2-5 years.

Intellectual Disability

 A condition characterized by significant limitations both in intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem-solving) and in adaptive behavior which covers a range of everyday social and practical skills including specific learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.” ( from RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT, 2016 )

Attention- Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurobehavioral disorder that affects a person's ability to focus, be active, and control impulses. It's characterized by an ongoing pattern of these behaviors that interferes with development or daily functioning.

Developmental Coordination Disorder

Dyspraxia, also known as developmental coordination disorder, is a neurodevelopmental condition that begins in childhood that makes it difficult to perform motor skills. It also causes issues with coordination. 

Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words (decoding). Also called a reading disability, dyslexia is a result of individual differences in areas of the brain that process language.

Dyscalculia

Dyscalculia is a specific learning disability with an impairment in mathematics, which can affect calculations, problem solving, or both. It impacts all sorts of numerical tasks.
