Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that describes the variety of ways people's brains process information and interact with the world. It includes a range of neurodevelopmental disabilities and other conditions that affect brain function, such as autism, ADHD, learning and intellectual disabilities, and traumatic brain injury. Neurodiversity can also refer to how people think and behave, including how they learn, remember information, focus, solve problems, and make decisions affecting living in a neurotypical environment, gaining education and further employment.
